Les Papiers de l’Espoir , a non-profit organisation, has been MétisMalagasy’s principal partner since 2008. Their support has been instrumental in the impact we have achieved. The organisation collects large volumes of used paper from businesses and public bodies; proceeds from recycling are then used to support educational projects.

Département Loire Atlantique

The Loire-Atlantique Department plays an active role in supporting local associations. Its financial contribution helped make it possible to launch construction of the basic healthcare centre in 2024.

Cyity of Saint-Nazaire

The City of Saint-Nazaire is a key partner of MétisMalagasy. Regular municipal grants supported the association’s construction projects during the 2019–2023 period.

La Côte d'Amour Pharmacy

La Côte d’Amour pharmacy in Saint-Nazaire recently joined the MétisMalagasy partnership network. In 2025, the pharmacy took part in the first “School Backpack Operation” as a collection point.

MIANATRA PROJECT,“LEARNING”

The Mianatra project, led by Global Communities, supports the public primary school in Ankazomagnitse sponsored by MétisMalagasy.

• A nutrition education and food-support programme has been running since October 2023 for three years.

• The NGO is committed to building a storage area, while villagers are contributing by building a kitchen and a rainwater collection basin.

A charitable association dedicated to supporting Malagasy children living in extreme poverty.

Association “Un Repas Pour Un Enfant”

The association “One meal for One child” supports Maharidaza public primary school in the rural municipality of Carion, Madagascar, by providing one meal per day to pupils and teachers.

Biblionef

Founded in 1989, Biblionef is an NGO whose primary aim is to give as many people as possible access to books and reading as a means of combating illiteracy, exclusion and poverty. A valued friend of MétisMalagasy to follow and support.

Alliance Française of Ambovombe-Androy

The Alliance Française of Ambovombe-Androy is a Malagasy non-profit organisation. Its mission includes teaching French, promoting Francophone culture, organising cultural events, supporting local artists and encouraging public access to reading.
